Message from the President

by Carolyn Browning, CH2M Hill

Summer time is in full swing! This wonderful season offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, climbing, camping, and other activities in our beautiful state. In addition to these activities, formal or informal volunteer actions lend a chance to help protect and preserve our environment and may also provide the benefit of setting a good example for others to follow. CRA members can add value to Colorado by taking small but important steps to further the goals of sustainability and conservation. Simple actions really can make a big difference! I look forward to seeing everyone at the 2009 conference in Vail this fall! In the meantime, take advantage of experiencing the great outdoors whenever possible.

Happy Trails!
